Award of a total of 100 scholarships, offered by Brother Charles Thomas of the ‘Daham Pahana’ Organization to schooling children of fallen and disabled War Heroes of Sri Lanka Engineers’ Regiment (SLE) took place this evening (14) at SLE Regimental Headquarters in Panagoda before a distinguished gathering of invitees, headed by Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander of the Army, Brother Charles Thomas and Mrs Chandrika Senanayake, President, Army Seva Vanitha Unit.
