A specially trained section from each under-command battalion of the 53 Infantry Division (Reserve Strike Force) is competing in the Arrow Head Challenge 2025 – Combat Readiness Competition, which commenced on 14 July 2025 and will conclude on 18 July 2025.

The Security Force Headquarters - West organised a lecture on ‘Reducing Non-Communicable Diseases’ at the Army Physical Training School Indoor Stadium on 09 July 2025, under the guidance of Major General U.K.D.D.P Udugama RWP RSP USP ndc psc, Commander, Security Forces (West).

An awareness workshop on minimizing audit observations was conducted at the 22 Infantry Division from 26 June 2025 to 29 June 2025.

The Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) conducted an informative lecture on Mental Health and a Satisfying Life on 03 July 2025 at SLSR premises.

A two-day workshop on ‘Military in Internal Security Operations’ (MISO) concluded successfully at the Security Forces Headquarters (Central) on 02 July 2025.

The Young Officers Course No 70 concluded at the Army Training School (ATS), Maduru Oya on 29 June 2025 with the participation of 32 Officers.

The Passing Out Parade of Special Infantry Operations (SIO) Course No 77 was held on 28 June 2025 at Army Training School, Maduruoya.

The Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL), in line with its 21st Anniversary, conducted an awareness programme on the ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ initiative for the officials of the Palindanuwara Divisional Secretariat at Baduraliya on 23 June 2025.

The Graduation Ceremony of the Army Physical Training School (APTS), Panagoda, for the first semester of 2025 was successfully held on 19 June 2025 at the Army Indoor Stadium, Panagoda.

A special lecture on “Conduct as a Member of the Army” was held on 18 June 2025, under the concept of Brigadier T.T.P Siriwardana, Director, Directorate of Army Band & Performing Arts. The session was conducted by professional Counsellor Lieutenant Colonel K.A. Muthalif (Retd).
