The Munchee National Volleyball Championship 2026 was held on 17 February 2026 at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, Colombo.
During the tournament, the Sri Lanka Army Volleyball Team emerged as champions, defeating the Sri Lanka Ports Authority Team by 03 sets to 01 in a thrilling final encounter.
The following players were honoured for their outstanding performances and valuable contributions to the team’s victory:
* Most Valuable Player (MVP) – Corporal K. Kalaichelvam of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps
* Best Attacker – Corporal K. Kalaichelvam of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps
* Best Setter – Corporal G.P. Dushyantha of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps
* Best Libero (Defender) – Lance Corporal W.A.D.M.S. Wickramasinghe of the Corps of Engineer Services
* Best Quick Attackers – Warrant Officer II B.H.W. Lakmal of the Gajaba Regiment and Staff Sergeant A.K.G.N.S. Karunaratne of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps
* Best Outside Hitter (High Ball Attacker) – Lance Bombardier P.M.S. Kelumrathne of the Sri Lanka Artillery
