Warrant Officer I H.L.N.D. Lekamge of the 2 (V) Battalion, Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps and Corporal R.A.S.J. Ranasinghe of the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers clinched silver medals in the women’s and men’s javelin throw events at the Asian Throwing Championship, held in Mokpo, Republic of Korea, on 03 May 2026.
The Sri Lanka Cricket Tier B Three-Day Tournament 2025/2026 was held from 15 November 2025 to 17 February 2026. Twelve major clubs, including Army Cricket Club and Navy Cricket Club, competed in the tournament.

The Army Cricket Tournament 2026, conducted by the Sri Lanka Army Cricket Committee, concluded successfully with its finals and awarding ceremony held on 11 April 2026 at the Army Ground, Panagoda. The tournament, which commenced on 02 March 2026, featured T20, 50 Over ‘A’ Division and 50 Over ‘B’ Division competitions.
