Sri Lanka Army Muaythai athletes secured their third consecutive victory at the National Muaythai Championship - 2025, clinching 17 Gold medals, 16 Silver medals, and 22 Bronze medals on 05 June 2025 at Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, Colombo.

The final match of the 13th Defence Services Football Tournament, conducted by the Sri Lanka Navy, took place at the Navy Stadium in Welisara on 11 April 2025.
The 13th Defence Services Rugby Championship, held from 09 April to 30 April 2025, concluded with the Sri Lanka Army men’s rugby team emerging victorious after a series of intense matches featuring Army SC, Navy SC and Air Force SC.
The 2025 Inter-Regiment Men’s Sepaktakraw Championship, organized by the Army Football Committee concluded on 07th March 2025 at the Panagoda Indoor Stadium with the participation of 13 regiments. After a series of intense matches between 13 regimental teams, the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Sepaktakraw Team and the Sri Lanka Army Military Police Regiment Sepaktakraw Team qualified for the final match, and the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Sepaktakraw Team won the overall championship of the tournament with a score of 02 to 00.
The 13th Defence Services Road Race – 2024/2025, organised by the Sri Lanka Army Athletics Association, concluded on 23 March 2025 at the Army Camp, Panagoda, under the supervision of Major General B.G.S Fernando USP, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Army Athletics Committee.
