  • Mullaittivu War-affected Civilians Given Artificial Limbs


    With the sponsorship, provided by Jaipur artificial limb production centre, Army troops recently organized a programme to distribute some artificial limbs to the civilians in Mullaittivu area. With the coordination of the civil authorities, troops serving the 59 Division selected those deserving 15 civilians with disabilities due to war-affected injuries.

    55 Division Headquarters at Vettalkerni, Jaffna with the great intention of raising standards of knowledge among more than 300 Grade 5 scholarship examination students, organized a full-day seminar at Palai Madhya Maha Vidyalaya, situated in the 551 Brigade area.
