  • Commander Shares His Experiences with Command & Staff College Students

    Student Officers at the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) Sapugaskanda, Sri Lanka’s highest seat of learning for Defence Services personnel, had the rare opportunity of listening to a lecture of the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya this morning (29). The students belonging to all three forces inclusive of a few Officers from other foreign Armies listened to this lecture as a part of their training for Passed Staff College qualification (psc) at the DSCSC.     To be in line with the Seva Vanitha Army Branch’s (SVAB) ongoing project for construction of partly-built houses of permanently disable War Heroes, the SVAB is now geared to commence completion of the house, belonging to Private R.M.R.S Bandara, 7 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) who sustained permanent disability during a terrorist attack at Mallavi.
