  • President Gives Away 27 More Houses in 'Api Wenuwen Api' Fund

    27 more houses, built from the proceeds collected in the ‘Api Wenuwen Api’ welfare fund at Ministry of Defence were formally released to the ownership of War Heroes Sunday (5) morning in Thorayaya, Kurunegala.     The Regimental Council of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC) had donated Rs 1 million to the Brave Hearts project for the construction work of its Wellness Resort, 'Abimansala'  in Anuradhapura for permanently disabled soldiers in appreciation of their sacrifices in eradicating terrorism from the motherland.
