    Foundation Stone Lays for a Needy Family in SF - East

    With the coordination of Major General S.A Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, the Commander Security Forces - East (SF-East) and the close supervision of Major S.P.I.H Senanayake psc Lsc, the Commanding Officer of 4th Battalion of the Gemunu Watch (GW), foundation stone was laid to construct a fully equipped house for a needy family on 12 July 2024 at Sitthandi by Brigadier R.P.S Prasad RWP RSP USP the Commander 232 Infantry Brigade during a simple ceremony.

    A tragic crocodile attack occurred in the Manik River, resulting in the death of a devotee due to injuries on 06 July 2024. In response, an 83-foot long mesh net has been installed across the river to prevent further incidents. This measure was implemented with the support of the Navy, Police, and Wildlife authorities, under the close supervision of the General Officer Commanding of the 12 Infantry Division.
