  • Sri Lankan Expatriates Continue Their Support to Disable War Heroes

    A stock of jell socks, used generally for amputated disable War Heroes was donated to the Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) by Sri Lanka United National Association of Canada. The stock valued at Rs 181,500.00 was handed over to Mrs Manjulika Jayasuriya, President, SVAB on Thursday (24).     The visiting Chief of Army Staff of the Bangladesh Army General Md Abdul Mubeen, during the third leg of his tour itinerary in Sri Lanka, made a trip down to Anuradhapura and Kandy on Friday (25). The first stop for the delegation was at Anuradhapura under the Security Forces Headquarters, Wanni (SFHQ-W).
