  • First Foreign Diplomat Calls On New Commander of the Army

    Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Mr Wu Jianghao Tuesday (13) morning paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake at the latter’s office at Army Headquarters. Sri Lanka-based Mr Wu Jianghao is the first foreign diplomat to have called on the Commander upon his assumption of office on August 1, 2013. The four-member Chinese delegation, headed by the ambassador was comprised of Senior Colonel Li Chen Glin, the newly appointed Defence Attaché and two other diplomats.
