  • More Land in Jaffna Released to Civilians


    77 houses and 29 land plots which were earlier used for military purposes in Jaffna were released for the use of civilians during two separate ceremonies on Friday (02). This area with some houses was earlier used for military purposes in the 511and 512, Brigades, 9 Sri Lanka National Guards, 25 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and 25 Sri Lanka Light infantry Regiments.
  • Daham Teachers Attend Workshop


    A total of 130 Dhamma School teachers in Vavuniya District underwent a specially-organized teachers training programme initiated by the 211 Brigade in Sri Bodhi Dakshinarama Viharaya, Vavuniya with the coordination of ‘Danoj Meegahapola Foundation’. The programme was organized for the benefit of Vavuniya District Dhamma School teachers who want to improve their teaching skills. Danoj Meegahapola Foundation, bore the cost for this programme.
