    The Inter-Regiment Boxing Championship - 2012, organized by the Army Boxing Committee came to a close at Panagoda Army Cantonment gymnasium on Tuesday (31) with the participation of 12 Regiments. The final tussle for championship was witnessed by Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya, Commander of the Army who himself has been a veteran in boxing having achieved international referee status.     Seventeen orphaned children, resident at Ashram Children’s Home in Iranamadu, Kilinochchi area received gifts and birthday wishes when those seventeen celebrated their birthday on July (29).
