A seminar, meant for students sitting the GCE Advanced Level (A/L) Examination in August got underway at Nelliady Madya Maha Vidyalaya in Jaffna on Friday (27), thanks to arrangements, made by 52 Division Headquarters in cooperation with the 521 Brigade serving the area.
CIMA, the main sponsor of the event attracted the academic support of Prof. Velathamby and senior lecturer, Mr Arul Vel for the conduct of the seminar, attended by over 80 students of Vadamarachchi area.
Conduct of those lectures on Commerce stream followed a thorough interactive session where students were allowed to get their queries clarified. The Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) Jaffna service at the request of the 521 Brigade Headquarters provided the sessions with necessary technical support.
The Army offered a refreshing drink to all the attendees free of charge before the culmination of the seminar at noon.
