Troops Serving SFHQ-E Attend Workshop on 'Personality Development'

To coincide with fast changing human resource development techniques and market-oriented managerial skills, the Security Forces Headquarters, East (SFHQ-E) enabled more than 950 officers and other ranks to attend a workshop on ‘Personality Development and Counseling’ for four separate days at Trincomalee and Punani.

Those workshops, conducted by professionals, including Prof Gamin Alwis, Mr Taraka Edirisinghe and a few others, were organized under the directions of Major General Lal Perera, Commander, SFHQ-E.

Workshop sessions included topics on Personality Development, Management and Stability of Family Life, Control of Family Economic Affairs, Development of Mental Health, Current Issues, Professional Work, Mitigation of Conflicting Issues, Work-Life Balance, Issues pertaining to traumatic disorder conditions and follow-up actions.

22 Division Headquarters at Trincomalee and 23 Division Headquarters at Punani coordinated the programme in their respective areas.  

Participants had a very free interactive session with the scholars who contributed to the workshop at the invitation of the SFHQ-E.
