Vijayabahu Motor Cross Pulls Huge Crowds
The 9th Vijayabahu Motor Cross at the country’s most difficult track with fourteen bends, two double jumps and four single jumps got underway at Vijayabahu track at Boyagane on Sunday (27). All is set for this year’s Sri Lanka’s No. 1 Motor Sports event, ‘Fox Hill Super Cross’ that brings thousands of fans to the chilly garrison town, Diyatalawa, it was announced during a Media briefing on Thursday (31). The annual event with its unique track of 2 km, organized in cooperation with the Sri Lanka Association of Racing Drivers and Riders (SLARDAR) will take place between 15-16 April 2011 to coincide with the forthcoming ‘Wasantha Senakeliya’ in Nuwara Eliya.
