The Sri Lanka Army Rowing Team emerged victorious at the National Indoor Rowing Championship 2025, held from 31st January to 01st February 2025 at the Diyawanna Rowing Centre. The competition was carried out with the participation of tri-services, clubs, universities, and schools.

The Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, along with Mrs. Swendrini Rodrigo, received blessings from the clergy and sacred sites, including the Sri Maha Bodhi and Ruwanweli Seya, on 5th February 2025.
