Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, attended a Dhamma Sermon organised by the Security Forces Headquarters (West) on 04 September 2025 at the Sri Bodhirajaramaya Temple premises in Panagoda.
The Dhamma Sermon, delivered by Venerable Rajagiriye Ariyagnana Thero, was organised with the aim of invoking blessings on the Armed Forces and paying tribute to the fallen War Heroes who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation.
Major General U.K.D.D.P Udugama RWP RSP USP ndc psc, Commander, Security Forces (West), Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and a large number of civilians from the area also participated in the religious programme.
