Major General D.K.S.K Dolage USP nps psc, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers (SLE), paid an official visit to the Home of Sappers in Mattegoda on 18 July 2025.

Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) of the Sri Lanka Army and Chairman, Board of Management (BOM) of Ranaviru Apparel (RVAPL), made his inaugural official visit to the RVAPL factory at Yakkala on 18 July 2025.

The Directorate of Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation in collaboration with Ranaviru Seva Authority organised a medical camp for differently-abled retired personnel on 30 July 2025 at Volunteer Force Training School, Diyathalawa. The initiative aimed to address the healthcare needs of Army veterans residing in the Uva Province.

‘Finger Swift 2025’, organised by the Directorate of Information Technology, got underway on 16 July 2025 at the Army Headquarters. Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, graced the event as the Chief Guest.

Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, the Commander of the Army, graced the awarding ceremony of the ‘Military to Civil (M2C)’ preparation and empowerment programme for Senior Officers, held at Army Headquarters on 14 and 15 July 2025. The event was coordinated by the Directorate of Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitations.

The Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, graced the opening ceremony of the ‘Military to Civil (M2C)’ preparation and empowerment programme for Senior Officers, held at Army Headquarters on 14 July 2025. The event was coordinated by the Directorate of Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitations.

A welfare programme was conducted with the aim of ensuring the well-being of serving personnel, while addressing their needs and concerns on 09 July 2025 at the Gajaba Regimental Centre.

Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, the Commander of the Army, handed over the key of a newly constructed house to Staff Sergeant W.M.G.M. Mangala of the 5th (V) Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment (GR) in Rajanganaya on 09 July 2025, amidst religious blessings.
