Troops of the 512 Infantry Brigade, 17th Battalion of the Gemunu Watch and 14th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment assisted in extinguishing a fire that erupted at the Jaffna Teaching Hospital during the early hours of 09 May 2026. The fire reportedly broke out at a medicine storage facility in the hospital premises.

The troops of the 4th Regiment of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) constructed a new house for Mr. A.K. Thamyith, a civilian employee of the SLAC, in Kinniya, Trincomalee.

The troops of 23 Infantry Division conducted a dry ration pack donation programme for low-income families of Punani on 20 April 2026 at Pancha Maha Viharaya, Punani, under the instructions of Major General G.P.P. Kulathilaka ndc, General Officer Commanding of 23 Infantry Division.

The blood donation campaign was organised by the Blood Bank of Ampara General Hospital on 06 April 2026 at the Ampara General Hospital.

Troops of the 12th Battalion of the Gemunu Watch (12 GW) conducted a dry ration pack donation programme for 80 low-income families at Dalukana on 06 April 2026.
