A group of artistes, including Ms Shinee Bandarathilaka, conducted a musical programme at the Ranaviru Sevana Army Rehabilitation Centre, Ragama, on 14 February 2026.

Under the guidance of the Commander of the Army, the Directorate of Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, in collaboration with the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), conducted a welfare camp for disabled retired personnel as part of a series of ongoing welfare programmes on 24 February 2026 at the Headquarters of the 22 Infantry Division, Trincomalee. The initiative aimed to address the healthcare needs of Army veterans residing in the Trincomalee District.

The 12th Asian Indoor Athletics Championship – 2026, organised by the Asian Athletics Association, was held from 06 to 08 February 2026 in Tianjin, China.

The 16th Sri Lanka Force Protection Company (SLFPC) conducted its first Contingent-Owned Equipment (COE) inspection for the year 2026 on 16 February 2026. The inspection was conducted by a team of 13 officials from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) at Sri Base in Naqoura.
