The 16th Sri Lanka Force Protection Company (SLFPC) conducted its first Contingent-Owned Equipment (COE) inspection for the year 2026 on 16 February 2026. The inspection was conducted by a team of 13 officials from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) at Sri Base in Naqoura.
The inspection concluded successfully with commendable results and no observations were made by the UNIFIL COE team, reflecting the unit’s high standards of operational readiness and equipment maintenance for the third time since assuming duties as the 16th SLFPC in UNIFIL.
