The Army Inter Regiment Judo Championship, held from 03 to 06 November 2025 at the Army Indoor Stadium, Panagoda, concluded successfully on 06 November 2025. 182 athletes from 14 regiments competed across various categories in the tournament.
Major General W. M. S. N. Wijekoon ndc AATO, Quarter Master General, Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps and Chairman of the Sri Lanka Army Judo Committee, graced the closing ceremony as the chief guest.
Championship results are as follows:
Men’s Championship:
• Champion: Sri Lanka National Guard
• Runner-Up: Gemunu Watch
• Third Place: Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps
Women’s Championship:
• Champion: Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps
• Runner-Up: Sri Lanka Engineers
• Third Place: Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps
Novices Men’s Judo Tournament:
• Champion: Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment
• Runner-Up: Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps / Sri Lanka National Guard
• Third Place: Gemunu Regiment
