The Inter-Regiment Wushu Competition was successfully held at the Army Indoor Stadium, Panagoda, from 25 to 27 November 2025. A total of 127 sportsmen and sportswomen from various regiments of the Army participated in the event.
Major General C. S. Thibbotuge, Director General (Admin) of the Kotelawala Defence University Hospital and Chairman of the Sri Lanka Army Wushu Committee, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
In the men’s championship, the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment secured victory for the sixth consecutive time, with the Sri Lanka Signal Corps finishing as runners-up. In the women’s category, the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps claimed the championship, while the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps were runners-up.
