The National Weightlifting Championship – 2025 was held on 17 and 18 January 2026 at the National Weightlifting Center, Torrington Square, Colombo 07.
In the Men’s Championship, the overall title, including the Best Lifter award, was won by the Army Sports Club. The men’s team secured a total of three Gold, four Silver and one Bronze medal across the various weight categories.
In the Women’s Championship, the Army Sports Club claimed the Runners-up title. The women’s team won two Gold, one Silver and two Bronze medals.
