    The ‘12th International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Asia Security Summit - The Shangri-La Dialogue’ that discussed a wide range of regional, global, strategic, technological, defensive and security-related issues, took place recently (May 31 - June 2) at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore.   • Workshop's Creative Vesak Exhibit Receives Commendation


    Katubedda Electrical and Mechanical Base Workshop of the Army won public commendation for the creative Vesak lantern that was on display at Battaramulla Diyawanna Vesak Zone in the recent past.   • More Troops Receive Training in First Aid


    Around 25 Army personnel, including officers serving the Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West) and SFHQ- Central during a four-day first aid course learnt how they could respond in the event of disasters as the Army’s ‘Search and Rescue Team’ (SAR Team).
