18 Gemunu Watch (GW) officers and soldiers serving the 523 Brigade in Jaffna recently, mindful of the dire need of the kids at pre-school in the Thachchanthoppu library premises at Navatkuli South, got a stock of desks and chairs prepared at their own expense and donated to the pre-school on the International Children’s Day (October 1).
11 Division Headquarters together with 111 Brigade Headquarters with the objective of blessing the Army’s 63rd Anniversary on October 10, conducted a special Pooja at Sri Dalada Maligawa on Wednesday (3). A Pirith chanting session and offer of respect with Gilanpasa Pooja to Sri Dalada Maligawa took place with the participation of General Officer Commanding 11 Division, Commander, 111 Brigade Headquarters, officers and a large gathering of other ranks serving the 11 Division.
