Commander Wants New Construction Expedited Expanding Medical Facilities Further
The prime medical institute of the Army, ‘Military Hospital’ at Narahenpita is to be expanded and well-equipped with new state-of-the-art sophisticated therapeutic machinery and technicalities for provision of best quality medical care to all members of the Army. This was disclosed Tuesday (11) morning during an inspection tour of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya to the worksite of the new Military Hospital complex under construction at Narahenpita Military Hospital compound. |

About 100 students from four schools in remote Madhu and Palampiddy areas were the beneficiaries of a donation of shoes, school books and accessories, made by Peliyagoda Lions Club in response to a request of the 61 Division Headquarters under the Security Forces Headquarters, Wanni.
