  • SFHQ-KLN Conduct Courses for Pre-school Kids & Soldiers


    Security Forces Headquarters, Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) with the intention of improving English language skills among pre-school kids at Vishwamadu, Peramandaru, Thamnasa and Kerikandu areas, organized a full-day training programme in respective areas for three days. Army woman officers and other ranks gave the training to those kids during Sept 3 - 5.

  • Troops & Civilians Join Blood Donation


    Troops, attached to 21 Division under Security Forces Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) recently organized a blood donation campaign at Anuradhapura Home for Ailing Monks in Maliyadewa Mawatha. More than 200 soldiers and civilians joined together and gave blood on the occasion. The project is one of the many welfare programmes, organized by the troops in Anuradhapura area. More than 25 officers also donated blood at the same venue.  
  • More Than 500 Compounds Inspected for Dengue Threat


    Troops, numbering over 200, attached to the Security Forces Headquarters - South (SFHQ-S) inspected more than 500 houses in Homagama area for threat of Dengue epidemic, together with a contingent of Public Health Inspectors, Grama Niladari Officials, Police personnel and a few other local council authorities on Saturday (8).
