The Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB), adding a fillip to its ongoing house-construction project for War Heroes, handed over one more SVAB-built new home and two more Gemunu Watch (GW) Seva Vanitha unit-erected houses in Galle district Monday (10) to War Heroes and their spouses during separate formal ceremonies.
Troops, attached to 21 Division under Security Forces Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) recently organized a blood donation campaign at Anuradhapura Home for Ailing Monks in Maliyadewa Mawatha. More than 200 soldiers and civilians joined together and gave blood on the occasion. The project is one of the many welfare programmes, organized by the troops in Anuradhapura area.
