Prednal Hall in Manmunai North in the 231 Brigade area of the 23 Division became packed on Monday (15) when Burgher community and Army personnel of Christian faith joined hands together to witness a Christmas concert, organized by 12 Gajaba Regiment troops in Batticaloa. A large gathering of school children who attended the concert were also provided with school amenities as Christmas incentives.

The 11 Division of the Security Force Headquarters-Cenrtal (SFHQ-C) organized SFHQ-C Athletic Meet to enhance the athletic abilities of Army personnel serving under SFHQ-C at Jayathilaka Grounds, Nawalapitiya ended on Thursday (18). Brigadier D.S.N.K Senadeera, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 11 Division declared opened the SFHQ-C Athletic Meet by lighting the Olympic lantern on Tuesday (16).

The team checked over 500 households and their environmental conditions and educated people on this deadly menace.
