    COLOMBO: A BLAST TRIGGERED in a bus close to SHAILABIMBARAMA temple near the University of MORATUWA has injured at least twenty civilians according to the Police.

  • Three Civilians Shot Dead by LTTE

    JAFFNA : THREE MORE CIVILIANS were shot and killed at point blank range by LTTE pistol men in TEMPLE road , JAFFNA Monday (04) at about 1.40.p.m. The assassins on a motor bicycle mingling with other civilians in the area carried out this horrified act of killing during broad day light for reasons best known only to them. The JAFFNA police are conducting further investigations.

    POLICE YESTERDAY (29) recovered twenty rounds of T-56 ammunition and a hand grenade from a vehicle belonging to the Jaffna branch of the Human Rights Commission (HRC).
