The new Chairperson of the Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch (CAL-SVB), Mrs. Shehani Fernando took over duties on Monday (09 October) during a simple ceremony at the CAL Regimental Headquarters in Ambalangoda amid religious blessings, warm greetings and best wishes.
The Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC - SVB) organized several charity events to support children in need. On 15 August 2023, a donation of dry rations, gift packs, and a delicious lunch for 28 children at the ‘Surasa’ Child Development Centre in Waththegama took place as per guidelines given by the Chairperson, SLAOC - SVB, Mrs. Banduni Magret Ranasin Ranawaka. Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (SLAOC), the Centre Commandant, and the Commanding Officer of 4 SLAOC supervised the project.
