Troops of the 12 Infantry Division undertook a vital initiative from 29 to 31 January 2024, by conducting a comprehensive cleanup operation along the left bank of the Lunugamwehera Reservoir.
Recognizing the potential threats posed by undesirable vegetation, the troops, under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding, 12 Infantry Division, Major General C.S Munasinghe WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc IG, proactively addressed the issue through this cleanup drive.
