521 Infantry Brigade and Civilians Unite for Coastal Cleanup in Satkotai

Troops of the 521 Infantry Brigade joined hands with civilians for a cleanup program in the Satkotai coastal area on 17 February 2024. This initiative was carried out under the guidance of Brigadier M.H.R Fernando RWP RSP USP, the Commander, 521 Infantry Brigade.

The collaborative initiative sought to improve the cleanliness of the area while instilling a sense of communal responsibility towards environmental preservation. By actively engaging with the community, the troops underscored the importance of collective action in safeguarding the environment for present and future generations.
