8 SLNG Troops Assist in Construction of House for Deserving Family in Kumana

Troops of 8 Sri Lanka National Guard (8 SLNG) commenced construction of a new house for a deserving family residing in Kumana area on 05 February 2024, during a simple ceremony.

Major E.D.S.K Deniyaya, Commanding Officer, 8 SLNG, laid the foundation stone marking the beginning of construction. Troops of 8 SLNG are providing much-needed manpower and technical assistance, while a group of generous philanthropists in the area provide financial contribution for the project.
