Troops of 2 Sri Lanka National Guard (2 SLNG) organized a donation programme on 20 January 2024 at Kilinochchi Jayapuram Mixed School. Brigadier D.S.S Radalage RWP RSP, Brigade Commander of the 552 Infantry Brigade graced the occasion as the chief guest.
During the event, 60 students from Kilinochchi Jayapuram Mixed School and 40 children of Non-Commissioned Officers/civil staff from the 55 Infantry Division were provided with pairs of shoes. The program was made possible through the sponsorship of Mrs. Mirinja Contia, a generous philanthropist from Finland.
Commander, 552 Infantry Brigade, Commanding Officer of 2 SLNG, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
