Commander SF-J Speaks to 55 Division Troops

The newly appointed Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna (SF-J), Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, made a visit to 55 Infantry Division on 29 and 30 January 2024.

Upon his arrival, Major General R.K.N.C Jayawardene RSP ndc, General Officer Commanding, 55 Infantry Division, warmly welcomed him according to military formalities.

During his visit, Commander, SF-J participated in a series of events at 55 Infantry Division Headquarters, including the planting of a sapling, troops address, group photograph and an All Ranks tea.

In conjunction with the visit, Commander, SF-J visited the Brigades, under command Units, Battalion Training School- Mulankavil, District Secretariat Office, victory monument - Kilinochchi, St. Theresa Church-Kilinochchi, Kandasami Kovil - Kilinochchi, Lumbini Temple - Kilinochchi and Gamini Kularathne Memorial Monument - Elephant Pass.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks serving under 55 Infantry Division took part in these events.
