Troops of 68 Infantry Division organized an initiative to contribute dining tables and dry ration packs for needy families in Puthukkudiyiruppu area. The event took place at 3 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) premises on 30 January 2024.
Major General S. Kasthurimudali RSP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding, 68 Infantry Division, spearheaded the donation effort and the troops crafted the furniture using locally supplied materials. The provision of dry ration packs was coordinated by 3 (V) VIR, with the financial support of 68 Infantry Division.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
