Commander of the Army Grants School Supplies to Deserving Children

The Commander of the Army hosted an annual school accessories donation programme for the children of civil employees at the Army Headquarters on 01 February 2024. This event specifically facilitated the children of civil employees, aiming to alleviate the financial burdens on underprivileged families and ensure that students are adequately equipped with the necessary tools for academic success.

A total of 37 children were identified as beneficiaries and received essential school supplies. The symbolic presentation of three sets to employee representatives underscored the programme's wider impact, benefiting numerous families. This initiative exemplifies the Commander's vision of fostering a strong sense of community within the Army, extending his care beyond traditional military duties to encompass the well-being and enhancement of the living standards of civil employees' families.

The Commander's commitment to embracing the future generation is evident in this proactive approach towards education as a collective responsibility. This leadership actively contributes to creating a positive learning environment for deserving students. His "fatherly care" philosophy, embodied in various welfare initiatives, demonstrates a deep understanding of the issues being experienced by the civil employees and their families during the present economic condition in the country.
