The National Baseball Championship - 2024 got underway from 06 - 21 January 2024 at the Diyagama Baseball Ground with the participation of 19 teams around the country.
The Army players participated in the tournament under the guidance of Major General W.L.A.C Perera RWP RSP USP, Chairman of Army Baseball Committee. In the final showdown, they fiercely competed against the Navy for the Championship title.
The Army baseball team emerged victorious, clinching the Championship with a score of 9 points to the Navy's 4 points, securing their position as the champions while the Navy took the runners-up spot.
