21 Division’s New GOC Makes His Maiden Official Visits

Major General H.H.K.S.S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, the recently appointed General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 21 Infantry Division, undertook his first official visit to 211 Infantry Brigade and its under command battalions including 9 and 5 (V) Gajaba Regiment on 20 January 2024.

During these visits, the Brigade Commander and respective Battalion Commanding Officers provided comprehensive briefings on their current roles and tasks to the visiting GOC. In reciprocation, the GOC shared his vision during his formal troop addresses at the Brigade.

Adding a notable significance to the visit, the Brigade Commander of the 211 Infantry Brigade extended an invitation to the GOC to inaugurate the newly constructed Main Gate of the Brigade.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks attended the event enhancing the significance of the visit.
