12 Gemunu Watch (12 GW), located in Aralaganwila, recently inaugurated its newly-renovated Officers’ Mess building on Monday (01 January), in the presence of the Commanding Officer of 12 GW, who attended as the chief guest.
The construction of the Mess was carried out by the unit's troops using locally-supplied materials. Senior Officers and Officers of the Unit were present during the event.
