Army Donates a Wheelchair to Assist an Underprivileged Civilian in Dambulla

In response to a special request made by the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, the Directorate of Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation donated a wheelchair to a deserving civilian residing in Dambulla on Saturday (06 Jan).

This individual, named D.N Rohana Bandara (age 40), tragically lost mobility from the waist down following a motor vehicle accident. Officers from the Directorate of Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation reached his doorstep and presented the wheelchair.
