Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC) Regimental HQ at Panagoda hosted a formal felicitation ceremony to newly-promoted Major General A.M.K.G.P.S.K Abeysinghe on Friday (05 Jan).
The Newly promoted Major General was warmly welcomed on arrival at the premises and subsequent Guard Turnout at the entrance greeted him in accordance with military traditions.
Afterwards, the Senior Officer was honoured in Guard of Honour parade in the parade ground after he was invited to the special dais. Soon after, the Senior Officer left memories by posing for group photographs with the Regimental Staff and SLAGSC Officers. Following this commemorative moment, he addressed the troops, leaving a lasting impression with his words of wisdom and inspiration.
