The Commander, Security Forces - Wanni, Major General W.P.A.D.W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu together with a group of Senior Officers made a visit to the Abhimansala I at Anuradhapua on Tuesday (02 Jan), carrying New Year Greetings, on behalf of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu.
Upon their arrival, the Senior Officer and his delegation were welcomed with military formalities, and a resident inmate warmly received them at the entrance. The visit included a tour of the hospital facilities, where the Senior Officers engaged with the inmates undergoing treatments. As a gesture of goodwill, New Year gifts were distributed while extending New Year wishes to all individuals still undergoing treatment and their families.
Before concluding the visit, the Commander, Security Forces - Wanni, took a moment to pen down complimentary remarks in the visitor's book.
