In an effort to curb the rapid spread of dengue in the Mullaitivu District, the Troops of the 10 Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment conducted a Dengue Prevention Programme at Mallavi Base Hospital on 29 December 2023.
This initiative was carried out under the direction of Commander, Security Forces - Wanni, Major General W.P.A.D.W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu along with guidance of General Officer Commanding, 56 Infantry Division and Commander, 561 Infantry Brigade. Troops under Security Forces - Wanni and Mallavi Hospital Staff actively participated in this programme.
