The new Director Sports, Brigadier G.A.T. Godewatte RWP RSP, addressed the secretaries of all Army sports committees after inviting them to the Directorate premises during 21-23 December 2023.
He spelt out his vision, mission, and expectations regarding the future of Army Sports and emphasized the importance of monitoring and evaluation process for selection of sportsmen and sportswomen for Army sports pools.
The committee secretaries presented respective performances, financial reports, and training schedules for the year 2024. They also highlighted and discussed possible solutions for practical issues, views, and requirements.
