New ASL Commandant Begins Duties

Colonel Y.K.S Rangika psc ptsc assumed duties as the new Commandant of the Army School of Logistics (ASL) in Trincomalee on 8 December 2023.

On arrival, he was received by the Chief Instructor, Colonel G.T.S Silva USP QLCO Lsc ato and was subsequently honoured in a Guard Turnout at the Army School of Logistics (ASL) entrance. Amidst religious rites, the Commandant took over duties in his office. Afterwards, the new Commandant sat for a group photograph along with the staff.

Signifying his inauguration of office, the Commandant, planted a Mango sapling in the camp premises and addressed the troops. An all rank tea with the participation of Officers and Other Ranks brought the simple inauguration to an end.

Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks congratulated the new Commandant.
