Combined Team of Sri Lanka-based Diplomats Calls at SFHQ-J

A combined team of diplomats, comprised of Her Excellency Dr. Siri Walt, the Ambassador of Switzerland, His Excellency Hideaki Mizukoshi, the Ambassador of Japan and His Excellency Sadile Schalk, the High Commissioner of South Africa made a courtesy visit to the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on Thursday (14 December) during a tour to the Jaffna peninsula.

The visiting delegation was warmly welcomed by the Commander, Security Forces -Jaffna, Major General S.R.K Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc along with Senior Officers on arrival at the SFHQ-J.

During the cordial meeting, the Jaffna Commander and the visiting delegation exchanged views on ongoing civil-military cooperation projects, social welfare gestures, economic relief services, community-development assistance and the reconciliation process. The delegation included several respective embassy officials.

Towards the end, all diplomats left memories of their visit in the Visitors' Book before symbolic mementoes were exchanged.
