The Director General Financial Management and Colonel Commandant Corps of Engineer Services, Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc made a formal visit to the 6 (V) Corps of Engineer Services (6(V) CES) camp at Meegoda on Wednesday (13 Dec).
The Colonel Commandant was warmly welcomed in a customary Guard Turnout before he listened to a comprehensive briefing on the role and duties of the 6 (V) CES. Addressing the troops, he expressed his gratitude to all for their unwavering dedication to duty and appreciated the efforts made by the troops in elevating the standards of the 6(V) CES.
Adding memories to the day, he posed for a few group photographs and planted a sapling in the premises. Further, the 6 (V) CES Colonel Commandant interacted with the troops during an All-Rank tea arrangement. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks took part in the day’s agenda.
