SLSR Regiment HQ Bids Farewell to Outgoing Colonel of the Regiment

A fitting ceremony held at the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment HQ at Ambepussa bade farewell to Major General G.R.R.P Jayawardena RWP RSP ndu, the Overlooking Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff as well as the SLSR Colonel of the Regiment on Friday (8 December) at the SLSR Regimental Centre giving pride of place to customary military formalities.

During the day's agenda, the newly-constructed Senior Officers' Accommodation facility, cricket pavilion complex, and an outbound training accommodation facility (Mud Hut), which were built under the guidance and instructions of Major General G.R.R.P Jayawardena RWP RSP ndu, were officially vested in the troops amid religious observances and ceremonials.

Senior Officers, Offices and Other Ranks participated in the event.
